CLOCS Gate Checks

CCLG is delighted to be a CLOCS Strategic Partner, supporting their efforts to drive safer, cleaner, and greener construction logistics.

Ensuring vehicles are safe and meet the standards of any specified accreditation is a critical requirement within the CLOCS Standard. Principal Contractors should check through general observation and sufficiently frequent spot checks that vehicles and drivers meet the requirements of the CLOCS Standard and that the specified route has been followed. CLOCS has developed several useful resources over the years including checklists, non-conformance reports, site posters and much more, but what does a gate check look like?

Working with CLOCS Champions and DGP Logistics, CLOCS has developed a brand-new gate check film that walks through the process explaining what is required and why.

For those looking to ensure their gate checking process is as robust as it should be, this video could form part of the site induction, used as part of a toolbox talk or incorporated into a site training programme.

For anyone wanting to take this to the next level, CLOCS Site Access Traffic Marshall training is now available to CLOCS members equipping teams to deliver this training back in their operations and providing an annual licence to access CLOCS accredited materials.
